Slick 60's

I have plenty of vent windows (Glass and frame) The problem I have is the long bolt that comes from the frame (Where the spring and nut screw to) is broke.

Do they sell that part or is it a junk yard item.

pretty sure you can buy them, as i have seen vent windows that had a pivot replacement.

That long bolt that comes out of the frame is the reason most people get a new (used) window from a yard. I don't know how you could possibly replace the bolt, as the stamped metal surrounding the frame would block you from welding it on. I could be wrong, but I just replaced mine.

the glass is removed from the frame, and both the handle piece and the pivot can easily be replaced

but i will gladly sell a complete vent window to those not wanting to mess with taking the whole thing apart

I paid 75.00 for used vent window with glass,nice inside chrome handle. I repainted frame. CK bob"s f-100s in atlanta,GA.
