$500 uni

Post by mikes junk pile »

This truck sat under a tree from 1977 untill now. everything works and it drives. The only rust issue is on the floor, the windows were open for 4 years. I have all the oil change paper work from 1961 to 1977. In 77 it only had 79442 miles now 81220 miles. This is going to be fun. Thanks in advance all the answers to my dumb questions.

Mike, it looks like you have a pretty solid truck there. It should clean up pretty good.
Cool that it runs. Have you driven it any? Have fun with it. TR

That is a great start for 500.

I thought I had a good start with my 400 buy, but I had to pull a lot of parts from others.

Be sure to start a build thread and keep us updated.

Very nice for $500. Probably somewhat good that the widows werent closed all the way. It may have kept some condensation from building up inside the cab and allowed any moisture that got in to dry out. Down side just about anything else could get in too. From the pix of the interior it doesnt look to bad.

Man Looks good, I think you knocked a home run. It looks like you could just start cleaning that one up and rubbing it out and get on down the road! You can't go wrong with that Yblock.

sorry abought the double post. This is not my first 61-66 ford truck but it is my first time on this site. It is amaizing what you can find on the confuser when you have the time. How long has this site been up?
I have had 2 65's and 1 64 before. You have to really try to kill these trucks even when they are 40+ years old. I wish I could hold up that well!!
