Slick 60's

I had sold my 62 SWB 429/C6 to my buddy Glen. His plan was to slam it and clean it up some.
He ended up selling it to a guy who did some of the bodywork and reshot it bright white.
It looked like a scuff n spray but he fixed the tailgate and steps.


My buddy sent me this pic from a local car show a minute ago. The guy had my truck in the burnout contest.



Then it blew up.

We all know you Phil!, as I was thinking the same thing also!.........or should it be Heavyhauler!

That really sucks.........But, as they say "You can't control what you don't own" There will be another one for you bigger & better!
Funny how that works.

Unfortunately the reasons I parted with it have not changed, broke, no room, too many projects
Last thing I need is a 429 rebuild + all the stuff it needed before + Sanding off the guy's crappy paintjob.

Its just a truck.

If the house and everything you owned burned to the ground, you would be at the curb saying "Thank God we are all alive".

Its just stuff.

Stuff can be replaced.

I guess it went on its feet in full battle !

This reminds me of the guys that like to PUSH there luck on dyno's !!!!
