Heater hoses
Been a long time since i've even messed around with this. Limestone's heater hoses had been cut when i bought it last March, and both of the pipe connectors were plugged. Gettin rather chilly down here in Florida so i began troubleshooting all this. Blown fuse to heater switch fixed, now have a 2-spd heater that works fine. Defroster knob also pulls out fine and blows strong through the vents on the dashboard. Where exactly does the heater hoses connect to from the heater core. She be a 352. And is there a connector i can use for one of the inlets or outlets to hook my stock sending unit to it. Scratchin my head on this.
Long live the 352

Re: Heater hoses
From your description,(Defroster knob also pulls out fine and blows strong through the vents on the dashboard). is your heater a deluxe unit with separate temp and heat controls under dash? And are you talking about the water cut off valve on the end of one of the cables under the hood as as a sending unit?? I can get a pic of my set up if you need it.jim
Re: Heater hoses
If limestone or anyone else needs this, here it is.The hose end(return line) you don't see that good, connects to the top of waterpump.

Re: Heater hoses
Thanks jim, you have it right there on the pic. Cleared everything up. I'll tap into a plug near my factory sending unit and use that. Not a deluxe unit with seperate controls, just trying to decipher which hose goes where without sacrificing one of my sending units. Return goes to water pump, inlet hose to a plug near the distributor on the intake manifold. Now the big question is whether the heater core is any good.
