Nothing, before or since can match the chase scene in Bullitt. Nothing.

Watched White Lightning with Burt Reynolds in a '71 LTD 4dr sporting a 429 with 2 4s and a 4 speed on the movie channel last night and they had that tank handling like sports car. Could tell the sound wasn't edited in either.
