It kinda looks like a moonshiner's still on wheels. So, you can make the 'Shine and deliver it at the same time. What will they think of next?

nice idea however the thing takes up the whole bed so its not very practical because of that.
on a 9 or 10 foot flatbed using the front 1 or 2 feet its going to be better then you have room to haul.

They were using woodgas back in the 70s in The Mother Earth News both to power a pickup. They also built a woodgas powered generator that also provided a hot water source. It was stationary and made living off the grid a possibility. I still have those old issues packed away, considering the price of gas and electricity might be worth looking up.
If I remember right there was much use of woodgas powered vehicles in europe during WWII
