Inlet on the 1100 carburetor on the 300 in my '65 when I got it was just about stripped. Finally let go today. So I guess I need a whole new top. Where is a good place to find one? Anyone have a old carb core / top for sale? Thanks

Pretty used to this truck being reliable and on the road so hope it's not down for long.

Go to auto outlet store and buy JB weld. Two part epoxy. Mix and insert a new brass fitting. Let set overnight and then re-hook the system. 'Ine held for over 5 years with no problems. I would cut the fuel line about 4-5 inches from the carb and insert a piece of rubber fuel line. this takes some of the vibration out of the line which I believe causes the problem. It's about a less than 10 fix.
