Swapped out the 750 for a 600. A lot more driver friendly for the heavy truck. Just need to fine tune it. I have been painting pieces from the original 352 and others, including an Edelbrock SP2P for a transplant. I have been blasting and painting oil pans in search of the original one only to discover its on the truck. When I get it off Ill paint it the correct black.

You may want to do some research on that intake. They actually produce less power than the stock iron 4V. Jay Brown did a lot of dyno tests and that intake was just below the stock C4 iron intake for power (which says something! LOL). It is lousy for HP but good for torque but the stock intake was better. It is good for an RV or low RPM truck but the only real benefit is its lower weight! Hawkrod
I have never run an SP2P, so I'm just working from memory. I seem to remember Jay Brown's testing concluding that the SP2P produced the most torque under 4000 of any in this particular test. I am unable to find the actual results via a quick search.
I agree there's much better manifold choices, but if it gets rid of the original boat anchor, it is of some value!

I have the Jay Brown book. I sought this intake out for a 3.5 stroke build posted on fepower.net "352 For The Highway". Ill miss the power but at 11,000 miles a year I wont miss the fuel consumption. This intake did move the torque peak back on the 390 stroker to about 500 @ 3000 RPM. Lots of good technical data found in that book. Well worth the money.
