the grill on my 63 f100 is all white, but i have seen one's with a black &
white paint scheme. also if i recall ford white wheels were more of a
cream color, or maybe that was in the 70's. help senility sucks!

I'll take a stab at this, but it is subject to the experts...
Back in those days, I believe that there were no grills painted any "body colors" and what was available was either wimbledon white (your cream color) or anodized aluminum.

And, there was black paint in the "low" areas to make the bars stand out.

Check out
www.fordtruck.com/images/63fordcolor. I got the color "chip" list for my '62 there. The two whites available in '62 were corinthian white and milk white, codes M and C. The corinthian white is creamy. wimbledon white is very close, but I think a later color. at least later than '62.

That's images/63color for the color list on the '63. Whites are the same as the '62 - Milk and Corinthian. Paint shops should be able to match the color from the code.

Last time I painted the grille on my 62, I used Ivory Krylon, looked real close to me.

mike, what do you mean by "low" areas? i would think the vertical bars should be black, but what else?
