After following a link posted by The Astronaut, I came upon a source for gauge decals for the round speedo trucks. They are advertised for 66-77 Broncos, but certainly adaptable to our applications:

Jason at Greenback does great work, his decal/overlays are top notch! He can also custom make gauges. He built a 10K tach for my '66 C10 that looks dead stock, but registers 10K instead of 5K- perfect since I'm building a high revving LSx to swap in. All modern internals and it bolts in my gauge cluster with zero modifications.

Sorry for the Chevy content in a Ford forum (don't shoot!! ), but wanted you guys to see what he's capable of!

If it helps illustrate a source of parts to help on our Fords, it don't hurt my feelings at all. :2cents:

I talked to Jason yesterday, he is close to releasing a full set for F100-F900's for (I believe) 60-66's. He is sending me a set to check out for the '66 we are restoring, and I'll post pics on how to apply them.

Other than the lenses for the idiot lights; he's already there with the Bronco setup. Hopefully, he will develop some for the '65/66 Custom Cabs with the sweep speedo. The bezel and lens is available from Tom, but the decals for the gauges would be nice.

His decals include every style of decals needed for any cluster, F100-F900, including the Custom Cab sweep speedometer. I will post a "How to Restore/Detail a Gauge Cluster" once we get the decals in. We already have the bezel/lens from Dennis Carpenter.

Here is a cluster rebuild for a C10 I did:

Just received the decals to try out. They look great! I will do a "how-to" in the next couple weeks.

Tried out the decals on the Fuel and Temp gauges, they worked great! I used a hair dryer to heat the vinyl so it could stretch around the raised letters, and a microfiber towel to push the decal into the base of the stamping. I need to find a speedometer since the needle is broken on this one, and I'll be able to start reassembling the cluster.

After, and painted the needles.
