I have come across a '70 F 100 LWB Ranger 2WD, and for a truck that is 44 years old, it's as clean as they come. And for the price, I just can't pass it up. I figure I will have more money invested in a stock engine rebuild for the 65 than I am paying for this truck complete. With a few maintenance items out of the way, I will be able to get started on modifications right away without having to wait a few years to complete and investing tens of thousands of dollars. Like I said, I can't pass it up.

Now for the question....what do I do with my 65 that is almost completely torn down? Do I scrap it? Do I sell it for parts? Do I sell it complete as a project?
For starters, aside from surface rust, this truck is basically rust free. I am thinking one of you guys out there who is spending hours and hours (time is money) replacing rusted out panels in your cab and bed, could take this truck off my hands and save yourself all that pain and suffering. Even with a drive to the beautiful northwest, you would still be money ahead. And what's better than a road trip to pick up some good F 100 parts.
Everything is there, minus the passenger door (it was damaged and will need replacing), so I have saved someone alot of work if they want to make this a project. We all know how hard it is to tear apart the front clip on one of these trucks. All parts have been bagged and tagged and in storage boxes, so it is organized chaos.
It's a 65 Custom Cab/Camper Special with the Ranger interior package, and is equipped with a 360 and an automatic.
Here is a picture of the truck before I took it apart.

I said scrap it, but I really couldn't do that, so if I got your blood pressure up, you can relax now.
Let me know what you think I should do with the Slick.
