My dads 65

Just got my dads 65 f100 long bed up to my house the other week. Looking to make a good driver out of it. It has the inline 6 engine with 3 on the tree. It is a long way from some of the quality of the trucks I have seen on here. So far have to get the carb rebuilt, change the heater core and put some new tires on it. My dad bought this truck for 600 bucks back in the 70s off a used car lot.

Looks like a good project to work with! Doing little weekend project can be more fun on a restoration type project, because you can still drive the truck!

There is a lot of knowledge from the members on this site. If you have a question, someone will be able to answer it eventually.

Yeah I came across the site when doing some searching. I had a lot of memories of this truck as a kid and now that I have a son who is 2. I want him to have those same memoires.
