I just re did my bench and love it now. Used a 5 inch foam for bottom and ordered the vinyl and put it together. It's now so nice a lot better than the bucket seats I tried. See my
http://www.purpleflyingmonkey.com/truck ... efile.html web site for pictures it's actually easier than you think at least it was for me. The good thing is I don't feel the springs or the bumps at bad any more. If you have questions PM me and I will help where I can.

Chris.
Just a thought.
Build up the edge of the drivers side about an extra 1/2" so when it starts to get worn down from you getting in and out, your seat will still be level. That's what I did on Nadine and I'm kind of glad I did.
I hate when they get old and start to sag toward the door.

you should just get a bench from a junk yard with a similar look and get an upholster to cover it in some tuck n roll

I saw a slick in the car corral at the annual show and swap in Petit Jean Arkansas with a tan leather rear seat from about a 2001-2003 F150 or F250 Supercrew. Sweet. You have to use the tracks from a 64 slick the guy said.
