Aerostar front end links

Post by Pack Rat »

Wanting to do a Aerostar front end swap. Dont want to talk about Jag Dodge or Crown Vic. ( currently doing CV on a 68) and it is too wide for my liking. I have searched for more than an hour and find much discussion but no pictures of build threads. Has anyone got links to a good thread I havent seen the bottom of an Aerostar in 20 years. I used to rebuild those transmissions eery day. Never paid any attention to the suspension. Too cold and snowy here to go to the wrecking yard to lay down and look. I wnat to keep my Ford all Ford. Show me waht you got?

I am fairly certain that there is a guy in Vavenby, BC Canada that has one in his unibody Mercury.
I will try and find his post about the swap, might be here, might be on ford-trucks.com.

Here is a quick search on Google that shows his 'Slick Row': http://www.flickriver.com/photos/unclegal/7884880386/

His username is 429unibody at ford-trucks.com.
A few pictures on his post:

His last comment on that post:
If he who has the most Fords and Mercury's when he dies wins ...I guess I win
