NAPCO Slick 4x4 - any info appreciated

Anyone have information on Ford/Mercury NAPCO (Northwestern Auto Parts Company) truck conversions?
Other than what is on jalopyjournal and wikipedia.
Personal experience with NAPCO truck?

This is a 67 and an F600, but a Napco according to the seller.
Maybe give them a call, could be a source of info for you?

Not a slick, but a very nice looking bump side!
From what I know, NAPCO customized the trucks drive train, different transfer case, front end and rear end.
A lot stronger, possibly the strongest drive train available.

Factory Ford 4x4's started in '59 for the F100 and F250 so I would not expect to find many slick conversions except for F350 and larger trucks. Also I thought there were more Marmon Herrington Ford conversions and Napco did more GM trucks.

Any way to tell if it is a 'real' NAPCO?
Current truck for sale, has a 'NAPCO' badge on cowl.
