Seen this mower on a Facebook selling site ...$150 or better offer
Looked them up ... Wegele Mowers ... built in Kansas
So I messaged the guy ...He had a couple offers ...
Drove over to Herrington & took a look
Darn good shape , hadn't run in 3 years
But kept inside... he said it worked fine when he used it last
And he seemed pretty truthful
He had several guys interested & a guy told him $200 sight unseen
So I offered $220 cash right now.. he kinda didn't want to take it....
But I finally got him to let it go....
Its in the back of my truck right now... will get on it when I have help to unload
Called up the company... I can see why the other guy offered $200
A new one cost $5700......
I will get a pic of the one I bought later

LOL !
No offense taken at all !
It was the only "smilie" that I liked for a comeback....
Good news
Got it in the shop
Flushed Gas tank ..
Took Bowl of carb & flushed it
Fresh gas & it ran perfect
Put on air cleaner & it coughed

Had a tiny bit of grass that had greened up & mowed it
It starts choking down occasionally
Darn air cleaner is oil soaked & clogged (even though it looks good)
I think I know why he quit using it....
$8 air filter ....

Forrest rode a Snapper. My dad had one just like it.

Found a uniform for you to wear while riding it!

JK. I like it! It's got style. Tried to talk my son into finding something odd/old/unique when he was looking for a riding mower. Unfortunately, I couldn't find him one quick enough before he had to get something.

I have a yaazoo walk behind
For a small mower, it would cut down about anything
The handle broke & it got pushed under an evergreen tree
Probably still there
Haven't thought about it in years

Maybe you
will look like Forest Gump, but you're going to have so much fun with that mower.
BTW,,, don't knock the Snapper, I've owned 3 in the last 42 years, $80,00 for the 1st one, $100 for the 2nd one, and bought the 3rd one last year for $40 and it's the best one I've owned yet.
In fact it has sat all winter outside under the overhang of my utility building, and day before yesterday I got on it, turned the key on, hit the starter, it turned over 4 times and fired right up.
My 64 f-100 S/B won't start that easy after sitting for 4 months....

A buddy of mine in school Dad had a couple of them when we were kids. They lived on a farm and we played on them. We were supposed to be mowing but we took them places they should have gone and still came back for more.

They are a cool design. You step on the red peddle and it raises the deck to go over stuff.

Yep ... it will get used this summer im sure
A long time ago I had a Heckendorn mower
Very similar ... it was worn out. When I got it
I put a big Wisconsin engine on it ....
I have a very interesting story about that engine....
It's about timing a mag........
Hit me up at SLICKSTOCK and I will tell you .....
Probably a 2 beer story ....
Probably why my shoulder is shot today.

Wow .... impressive
Been using it hard....
Cleaning up an area that hasn't been mowed in 10 years
Lots of trees & dead wood
Weeds & grass knee deep
It walks over it at a fast idle like nothing
If you hit a dead tree limb it'll fly out like a baseball pitching machine
So far I'm pretty darn happy
