What engine? Six or Y-block? CPP has a power steering kit.
Uses the 4 x 4 Toyota box. About $600-$650 I think.

or, depending on your skill and confidence, you could just fab a toy box in yourself, probably what I'm going to wind up doing.

I've done the Toyota box on my 66 F100 4x4, it is very differant fron the 64 4x4, I would like to see some pictures of it on a truck with leaf springs. I understand the the box mounts at a differant angle than mine.

I went to the salvage yard and picked up a steering box and pump with bracket. I pulled off the box and pump myself to save a little money and that way I got all the bolts and lines and brackets. My particular setup came off a '76 f-100 4x4. I took a picture of the box mounted to the frame at several different angles for reference. I found some pipe that fit the 1/2 inch bolts holding the box on and cut holes in the frame and welded the pipes in place so when I tightend the bolts, I didn't crush the frame in. Don't know if it is a problem, but being a welder for a living, I tend to over do it. Mounted the pump to engine and ran the lines. I got the column to steering box rod from the same truck also and had to shorten it to make it work, but it all hooked up right and it is all Ford parts. I can get you pictures if needed. Good luck, it is worth the work. Chris

That is Me! I pulled the Ol Boy out of the shed after 3 years of not rolling it and am ready to start the next leg of the project and revisit the undone.

pipedobber, I'd love to see some pics. FWD to me here or direct at
harty59@hotmail.com and label 64 Ford so it doesn't get filtered out. Glad I found you all again!
