So i kind of got the tail lights to work,
-both turn signals work on the tail lights
-I has the driver side brake light to work for a minute (dont know how

)
-The e flasher indicator light blinks with the turn signals
-the passanger side running light works
-parking lights dont work at all
I have,
-replaced the bulbs
-replaced the turn signal switch
-replaced the headlight switch
Any thoughts on how to get it to work?

Good luck! I hate electrical problems. They drive me nuts.

You are aware that your parking lamps are off when the headlights are on, right? Just trying to save you some unnecessary frustration. HYave you treyed carefully taking al the connectors apart, cleaning them and putting them back together with dieletric grease? I had several lights not working on my Uni, did this and have had no trouble since.

Check to make sure you have good grounds and you might try a new flasher.

possibly
a. wiring inside steering column has short/corrosion
b.wiring down frame to rear same thing.
trailer harness wire on the roll is pretty cheap and what i use for the rear lighting.its 4 wire, so you can use the white wire for backup lights if you have them.

I replaced both flashers. also while i was working on it that POS turn signal switch i got from NPD broke. Before that i discovered that if i wiggle the turn signal lever into the right possition i can get one of the brake lights to work

thing about brake/turn signal/4way wiring is any 2 wires or contacts touching when they are not supposed to can send current to the wrong place.
same thin gauge crap wire used for the headlights, after 40+ years current is likely traveling thru 3 or 4 strands, the rest looks like a green penny.
cant count the number i have had to fix.
probably one of the most time consuming goose chases to be on.
from your current spot my next thing to do would be to remove all the connectors on the lights and any other plug ins [frame, firewall] and clean them up real well.also while doing this visually inspect all the wires, i got real tire many years ago following the ones along the frame with all the tape and cloth covering, that is why i now just hack them off and replace with the trailer harness wire, the good stuff will be 14 gauge, solder it to your plug ins if they are still good and then there is no doubt as to its conductivity.
one other thing is the lamp sockets and the springs and little bakelite discs inside, corrosion likes these too.

Another trick i learned a long time ago is to use a pencil eraser to clean off the contact places in your light sockets and even on the contacts of your light bulbs.

nice!
grounds are just as important as the hot wires... seems many people dont realize that...

Finaly got the damn turn signals fixed. Screwed with it for a couple of hours today and found out that the plug was not making a good enough connection, so after some jerry-riggin they finaly work. So after 32 years of sitting in a field and a couple months of screwin around it finaly is on the road again.

Mine worked when I got the truck but both front ones crapped out simultainiously, The rear ones are fine
