my left turn signal wont cancel. i have a 65 f-250. i think the part i need is a turn signal cam. the lmc catalog calls it a repair kit. is this the same as the original? or something different. sorry if this is a dumb question.

It's the cam/switch. I guess they call it a 'kit' because it comes with the little round clips to hold it and the wires don't have ends permanently attached.
Also available from our member Tom at Flashback F100s.

I bought my turn signal cam from a local parts house on one of those "Help" blister packs. You also can find them on Ebay pretty frequently. There is one on EBay now...

Before you spend cash adjust the steering column to the correct 1/16"gap at the wheel and hub.
No ammount of new parts is going to fix what cant be reached due to cab sag or mis adjustment.

Wouldn't hurt to pop the wheel off either & see if you're missing one of the long tabs. It probably does have one broken, but wouldn't hurt to have a look-see anyway.
