examples of two tones (tutones)

Well
After looking at a test panel for the rangoon red, I am not sure if I will like it. My truck isn't completely stock anyway (disk brakes, putting in a C6, 4 barrel, probably a/c also). So I am thinking about a different two tone color. I need to paint the inside of the cab, all my red plastic & vinyl is shot, so basically I can re-do it in whatever color I want.
Still wanting to do two tone, but other than rangoon red/Wimbledon white, anyone got some photos to share? Links to your albums are fine, no need to repost a photo unless you're wanting to. Thanks for whatever help you can give me.

Take a look at Candy apple red
http://fordification.com/images/72paintchips_RM01.jpg
its a darker, and less orange red. Beautiful colour....and Wimbledon
also look at reversing the two-tone.. red where the white is, white where the red. That is cool in some applications

Yep... IMO the best examples of two tone (tutones) vehicles, is vehicles out on the road... You can be pretty sure they will work together when you see them with your own two eyes...It doesn't matter what brand. If you see what you like, run them off the road and steel thier paint codes.....

To get base coat/clear coat, the closest match I could get from Sherwin Williams using a stock mix color is Canyon Red, at least thats what Ford called it in 89. It is close, but Rangoon Red is about 2-3 shades closer to orange-red than this.
But, I'll go with it anyway. Very few will ever notice the color is a little off. I want to get the firewall painted this weekend, and hopefully get the inside of the cab done in August.

Heres a tutone I really think looks good. And the stance aint bad either eh.
This guy used to be on here, where'd he go?!
If you want my opinion, red/ white is so over done! But thats just my 2cents.
Theres a really nice red on the new focus'.

Shiny I agree there seem to be a lot of red/white slicks. Turquoise/white also.
I thought about the light blue like you posted.
I just bought a paint kit, SW ultra 7000. All the stuff except primer (Which I already have) for a little over $350.

Tim, I like that light blue and white. Looks classy, or antique I guess you could say. That truck looks awesome IMO including the stance.
