On ebay, #250289900020. If you want to see a clean all original 61 custom cab, here it is. The condition is a car collectors dream. This proves all years look great.

pretty clean.put a T5 in it and get 23mpg.

The truck sure is nice, and very nearby to meself. I would be happy to go check this out for somebody on the list.

But with a stepside body, how does it qualify as a uni-body truck? Looks like a gap between bed and cab to me.

Need some 'splainin please.

The answer is simple, Doug. That isn't a unibody. It's a '61 Flareside

I didn't see where it was referred to as a Unibody in either the listing or the postings? Am I just blind?

Also seeing as how tops of Bed Sides Flare Outward I'd say it's OEM,
It actually is a FoMoCo pick up bed on it. Definitely not a GM Stepside bed .

Like it or not, the general public uses fleetside and stepside as generic terms to describe wide bed and narrow bed. The terms fleetside and stepside are used much the same as the term Cresent wrench, or does anybody here say " Hand me the adjustable open end wrench." I did not think so. I will agree it is sad Ford came up with such lame sounding names as flareside and styleside. Both have always sounded to me like something Mickey Mouse or Tickle Me Elmo thought up. I gave up trying to change the general public about 1978 or 1979. I have had a much better time in life since. Buuuuut, to each his own!!! Thanks, Lyman.

I haven't seen it personally. But, I bought it off of E-Bay while working in the "Arctic Circle" in Russia! Working on NABORS Rig 536. My brother (picked it up) swears it is in great shape! I'll keep all posted on how she turns out!
