Slick 60's

This is on evilbay, it's nothing pretty. I've honestly never seen anything so stupid. This just goes to show how bad people can screw up a perfectly good restoration.

I really enjoyed the mailbox stick-on letters identifying it as a hemi f100. I could hardly tell it was one of those. It must be one of those rare 354 models. Weren't most of those built with 92's ?

Who knows.. The mailbox crap got me. I was thinking man they even got custom logos.. And it still looks stupid. Then I figured out it was a sticker.. I was jus like

''will definitly turn some heads''

i would bet theres a big radio hole under the bumper sticker on the dash.

No JC before you ask I don't like the wood. I don't really care for it myself, a little too extreme. Looks like someone was cleaning out a junkyard and was trying to make anything that runs. Is it me or is the bed part longer? Maybe its a longbed. It also has a front bumper as a back bumper.

that thing is freaking cool! I wish the bed was not so dang long but man. how come nobody is creative with the interior? I have more cool stuff inside mine than I have seen in anyone elses. ( without aftermarket kits like roddorrs) HEMIS give me wood ha ha ha ha

I'm sure the mid-engine configuration would be a huge advantage on the drag strip, but I don't get the impression that's what it was built for. It's lacking a certain level of detail and appears that its primary function is to show off the hemi.

It's a real clash of different styles and eras. I suppose it is a work-in-progress, but the early hemi (regardless of brand affiliation), 60's chassis, modern nitrous bottle (is it even hooked up?), 80's side mirrors with spotlights, and interior with a 70's looking seat cover, 80's style gauges, and floor shifter (as well as original column shifter) don't really flow together. I'm also left to wonder if that's just an original 28-spline 9" rear. Is it even a limited-slip? And why are the flywheel and torque converter exposed? At least it has a dual-reservoir master cylinder! It needs more tire in the rear and the ladder bars look a little sketchy.

It's just an oddity and doesn't seem very functional. I can see doing something like this with a vehicle that had limited space in the engine bay (Dodge A-100 van, for instance), but that's clearly not the case here. I think someone just wanted to put their high-dollar race hemi in something...

Sooo...he's got a NOS tank under the hood, what's the other one? An oxy-acetleyne (SP?) tank, so he can weld up stuff as it breaks?

haha wow in a way,,, yuck in a bigger! that big long flatbed is just silly. And the engine in back... these girls got big engine bays!!!

I think maybe he couldnt find a driveshaft.....

the underside looks kinda hacky, but a lot of people's cars do...

if that NOS and FREAKIN OXYGEN tank are actually functional..... I scared.

the second tank could be a cool for the fuel or a home made intercooler for the blower or a second fuel tank for the N20 ,thing is cool as hell

Not a lot more can (or should) be said about the truck, but then maybe we are already past that point. Whew!
I know the East Coast sometimes marches to a different drummer (not bad, just different) than the West Coast, with regards to their automotive tastes, but seriously...this guy must have been marching to a bagpipe.
The thing I find amazing is that someone is proud enough of the rig to post so many pictures of it. A part of me feels sorry for anyone who would proudly advertise such a rig. Looking at the workmanship (?) on the exhaust system and the rear brake lines I can only wonder about the quality of the rest of the truck.

I think that may be it. Look at the frame where the motor drops through, is that angle iron?

Looks like it could be channel. Either way it doesn't inspire confidence.

Im glad its fast so it can go by so fast that i wouldn't see it. Thanks to the builder. Looks like he could use a nicer front bumper too.
