well on those its not so much the truck itslf, it looks clean, but 6-7 mpg is about it.
i know where one of those is, only reason i never tried to get it is its punched in the nose.

would make a very nice looking hauler i think.

That would be cool as heck! Mount it on a modern semi frame, put on a nice aero sleeper. Be kind of like a truck stop hot rod!

Love those COE's. Very narrow engine compartments, would compliment a Cummins transplant nicely! Not too sure about the sleeper but would make one heck of a cool roll back!

cool looking coe. ill take it if you dont want it. i saw a cool one at goodguys. ill look for a picture to post. the engine compartment is small as stated earlier. ive seen a few on modern rv chassis that had there bodies totaled or recycled for what ever reason. you could go the route of swapping everything over. but it would be alot of work and might not look right. or if you wanted to be differt and go the route i would go you could mount a new engine behind the cab with a custom box built to cover it from the elements. ie: fiberglass. the engine in the rear would give it a cool look plus it would free up alot of room up front for a ac/heat unit. plus the cab wont get hot or stink. i think a beautiful wooden flatbed built on the back would look great. you could have the engine right in the middle and forward near the back of the cab

Set it on a one ton Diesel Dually chassis.....

Sweet!

Decent price to.

Industrial Chassis is building a COE for Miles and it is on a one ton Chev with a 502 BBC T400 and a GV. There are adapters out there to mount ten lug tractor rims n tires on the one ton eight lug hubs...Really makes them look better and uses the BIG tires.

A COE with a custom airstream type rv attatched would be a great sight seeer!

I'm hoping to eventually get an early 50s Ford COE flatbed to make a hauler to get my 55 Wagon to shows. The only problem is that in Jersey, with the GVWR on those old trucks, I'd need a CDL! One way around that would be to mount the body on a modern F-350 rollback chassis as I've seen many guys do. Then it's within limits.
