Guess what? My wife just came home with a 4 week old puppy. Like we need another pet.
3 months ago she brought a 15yr old Parrot home. They can live to be 100yrs old.
This makes 2 birds, 2 outside dogs, 2 inside dogs counting the new puppy and 1 tomcat inside aswell.
Mind you, we live in a 900sq ft house and it's getting smaller.
My wifes heart (and mine) is bigger than my wallet and home.
Starting to look like a car lot (5 vehicles) and a petting zoo around here.

I can identify with that feeling.
Thanks in part to my kids, we've currently got;
2 Cats (inside/outside/wherever they feel like)
2 Dogs (outside)
1 Wabbit
1 Turtle
2 Ducks...Mallard (outside

)
The two ducks are quite the characters & quite fun to have. The big one (Walter) is a year older than the small one (Stanley). Walter was fed some super-growth stuff when he was a chick & now he's more the size of a small goose.
He can only fly a few feet before he crash-lands.

Stanley could fly wherever he wanted, if he wanted & lands gracefully.

All together now, aaaawwwww look at the puppy.
This is Betsy. I named her Betsy because my wife said she look like a cow the way she is marked.
Barely 4 weeks old. Some heartless POS left her for dead and a local recue center found her.
She is a PitBull and I will raise her to be a PetBull just like Chyna our 6yr PB and the 3 PB's I had before her. Never had a single problem with any of them.
Then there's Ginger. She's a 3yr old Choc. Lab Cheasepeak Bay Retriever mix and Bela, our Chi-wa-wa.
And Tigger, he's our 15lb tomcat who loves to play fetch
Sammy the Cockatiel who I have to pet every morning before leaving for work. I heard that this is rare that they want to be petted.
Elsa the parrot want have a damn thing to do with me. They are strictly one owner pets and loves my wife to death.

I bought my wife a cockatiel, that doesn't want nothing to do with her, it decided I was it's human.

There's nothing wrong with Pitbull's, like any other dog, it's all in how the owner treats them.
One of our two dogs is a Pitbull & he's great! His greatest enjoyment in life is a good game of tug-o-war.
Here he is as a puppy.
As an adult. (we were dog tending the one on the left)
Hey Ezernut, our ducks will actually chase our dogs around the yard...nipping at noses & feet the whole way!

2 inside cats, one jet black and 3 years old, one grey tabby 7 months old. Both supposedly my daughter's cats.
They let us live in the house with them, so we can feed them.

1 dog 2 tortoises.
princess Mandy
Ella the Hermanns Tortoise
Ivan the Rusian Tortoise
This is what happens when the two tortoises are put together. And no it's not what you are thinking.

Thay don't like each other.

Well, at least they're active.
Mine looks like this about 80% of the time. Cecil's a private little guy.

Nice Mike
Our Cockatiel is gray.
Is that a Rotty pup?
Reason I ask is my 6yr old Pit is tri colored and most people think she is mixed with Rotty.

Nice little birdie, Mike. Whatever you do, don't let him read this book...it'll give him bad ideas.
