My uncle said he worked on these years ago and I will see if he can help me as well. he is much better at this stuff than I am and he will understand what the parts a...

Hello, I am new to working on cars and trucks and I have only had this slick for a short time. It is a 65 f100 352 V8 with a 3 on the tree. Someone put a Holley 4bl carb and dual exhaust on it sometime ago. It seems to start good with the chock out and then when I put it in runs ok but once I start ...

Re: Will these wheels fit?
Ok, thanks for the help.
What abouth the tires being to old? They look way better than what's on the truck now andhe even said they were much newer. But he also said anything over 10 years is unsafe. I really think they look good and have alot of life. I do not see any cracks or dryspots.
Thanks

Re: Truck starting poorley & Transmision question
Thanks everyone. SO I went out in the cold and took a look again. I noticed that theier are two small wires attached to the coil 1 on each side of the large wire that goes to the distrubutor cap. Any way the red one was loose. I tightened it up and it seem to start better. I did not drive it yet to ...

Thanks, I don't have any heater hoses because someone pulled the heater. would that be part of it? Could I just buy a spacer and put it on between the carb and intake? I think i seen an aftermarket one at my local parts store?
Thanks

Hello, I am a new member and a new Slick owner. I bought my 65 Ford F100 a few months ago and love it. It has the 352 3 on the tree. It is going to be a work in progress but it's a nice start.
