Re: Shop Heat
So is it gravity fed? I just properly hooked my heat in my garage, but my garage is only 24x24. I have a furnace out of a mobile home, oil burner. it blows heat out the bottom, so I built a 2x12 3 sided box underneath it and it blows out across the floor. Only takes a couple mins. to bring the heat ...

Re: What have you done to your slick today??
Does unburying the new project count? Going thru tubs of parts, seeing whats there, whats brand new. Just plumbed and wired in my heat in the garage, makes it alot nicer, a new/old oil heater out of a trailer, takes up as much room as a file cabinet. Charlie

Re: Another Vin. decode please
Thanks guys. Had no idea that kind of information was even available these days, let alone the vast majority of parts that are still around. I've been enlightened. In vol. 1 of the 66' Truck shop manual, you can find every bit of info. on the vin except an actual special order I think, which...

Re: Hello from Chicago
Drive it for a while before you completely disable it, when it's in pieces, it's easy to lose focus on it. I had one in pieces for a long time and missed driving it, I ended up buying a 62' SWB uni, pretty much done. I swore then not to disable that truck til I had another one on the road. Welcome f...

Had my GB removed a couple of years ago, it's alot easier than it used to be, couple of little holes, home in the same day, sure beats the GB attacks, Good luck with it.

Everybody good? been kinda out of the loop lately, miss the old days. Like building Bills truck when he wasn't there, cleaning out the XL bring her out of hibernation, bringing home 9 ash trays, and 7 glove box doors from a Kosko Christmas GTG.

Re: Barrett Jackson selling a unique Slick.......
Wasn't implying anything, just there are a few of us who know the original and have a personal relationship with the truck and the owner who reside prob. 20 mins. from my house. You're right that thing would be welcome at slick stock or any get together, but so would any slick even if it looked like...
