my father has an original shop manual that is all in one it is actually a mercury one and was the mercury dealerships manual for there shop its in pretty rough shape and missing the first part with all decoding for the door tag

From what I have seen the 66 4x4 used the same rad support as 65 2x4 with the different battery box and mount for radiator than the normal 66 rad support.

I know this is a older thread but if your transmission is freewheeling above 30 miles an hour something is not working correctly with the electrical system it's most likely the fuse on the firewall is corroded
