66 F350 power steering

will the saginaw box and power steering from a fe fit and work in a 66 F350? does the cab have any differences to make the saginaw not work in this truck? is there anything i need to know that i didnt ask about?

well what i was wanting to know is if the steering column on this cab would go throught the floor or the firewall liek the F100 do.

i have a potential customer waiting on an answer. is it possible to just say yes or no. and be sure about what you are saying. i mean i am new to these trucks i dont have one because i dont like the look of them as well as i do my 67-72 trucks. i know some of you know the answer. i know for a fact one guy does for sure.

No it cannot be used in the stock location

The F350 uses a Gemmer 335-4D integral shaft recirculating ball steering box. It is similar as to exit andsize to the four wheel drives and 2 wheel drives, but a bit beefier for 61 to 66 F350s.

To use the ford PS box extensive modifications will need to be done to the spindles on in to the frame including relocating the outlet for the box to the firewall and adding a new section of dash to accept the 65 up steering column.

This is the PS setup in my 69 F250 Highboy Crew Cab.

A similar set up can be done using the ford box and a front steer push pull, but the firewall and dash modifications will be needed. The pittman arm exits between the frame and leaf spring and a custom adjustable drag link attaches to the steering arm.
