Ken did you order one and recieve it yet? If not i would not count on getting one as Steve no longer produces them, he actually has to turn customers away weekly. Adam took them (the patterns and jigs) with him to Seattle and is to restart production up there building the Effie frames and kits. (again dont hold your breath).

Wow so I'm glad I got my Dak done before Adam took them. So does that mean my value went up because Steve is not producing the dak anymore?
No kidding. Now what do I do with the Rack Mod that I never got around to?

Need a project Garbz? :D

Steve should still honor the rack mod if you bought a cross member. give him a call next week.

I am glad I got my dakota kit when I did, but I was wanting another one. I guess maybe I should be looking at the CV crossmember for the other one.

Dean i am thinking of snagging a 03 and up CV cop car, they are plentiful here and dropping one under Christine.

Been away for a while... had to do the family thing and didn't get around to getting back with Skip and the guys in Houston. I did get under the truck though and see that whatever happened with the rearend...either it moved or just flexed has caused my drive shaft to be very close to one of the cross members and its rubbing...not all the time but most of the time.

I am back in Iraq now and won't be home for some time. I know now better what I will have to get done before I can really drive the old truck. Looking at front and rear suspension work and that should get it in good driving shape.
