the passenger side floorboard of my '61. Is there a cowl seal or heater box seal that could be to blame?

windshield wiper to cowl seal could be bad. thats my problem with water leak.

Do you mean the windshield gasket to the windshield frame? I may have a similar issue...

Dion, I think he means the cork seal behind the pivot on the wipers where they come out of the cowl.

That gasket was left out of the passenger side on my dad's 65 that he bought new.
He tried for years to seal the windshield.
Found it when he had to replace plastic gear in wwmotor.
If it cain't be fixed with a sledge hammer it must be an electrical problem!

just stand on your head and look for water stains under the dash and the trail should lead to the offending gasket.

Most likely the windshield wiper seal at the cowl like everyone is mentioning. Mine has the same problem but I have not even tried fixing it yet. Not sure how hard it is to get it to seal back up.
