Well I just posted some pictures of my truck.So tell me what you think of
it and maybe some ideas of what I could do to it to make it better.

Scuff it down and paint it, even if it's Krylon for now. The new bed floor looks good!

I think Im going to paint it this summer.
Ill probable just sand it down and paint it
primer gray for awhile but eventually Ill paint it red.

Wow, it sure does!

Sorta reminds me of a scene in "Christine" when the car started rebuilding itself...there was a perfectly straight, shiny fender on the old faded body. You've got a perfect bed floor on an old, faded truck.

I like your sheet metal glove box & radiator shroud, looks good.

Gotta say I'm kinda diggin' the current look.

The nice bed, nice interior, (looks like tinted windows too maybe?) nice wheels, good looking engine... and then the slightly rough body make the whole thing look down right mean.

If it were mine I'd be sorely tempted to leave it that way as long as I possibly could. Looks intimidating enough to make the whelps in their ricers try and sidle away from you at stoplights

Yeah this is the opposite of what you usually see LOL
Those redone wood floors tend to last from 12 to noon around here.

I agree leave it the way it is. Run about 10 3/8" holes in the muffler too. People will stay away big time.
Sinc would kill for that fender with the factory spare dent in it.

well I think it looks pretty mean right now and Im pretty sure
every one else in st.joseph thinks it looks pretty mean to because
know one ever gets In my way or trys to cut me off.
and for the fender with the spare tire mount I would like to
get an aftermarket one without the spare tire mount........

Leave it the way it is untill you are ready to paint the whole truck!

I got alittle ambitious one day and now i have a primer hood and one primer door on what was a decent looking red truck.

Nice looking truck! Very interesting glove box knob!

Check out this issue of Hot Rod to see about painting your truck for $98.

Looks like it might be a good idea for a driver like mine.

Marty is that the article that has been floating around the net for a few years, some guy in Nova Scotia who rolled Tremclad Paint onto his General Lee?

It come out purdy nice, BTW....just curious if it's the same article.

HERE'S a thread on that guy. The end result looks pretty darn good, I still may try it out on my '82 Crown Vic.
