1964 Steering column

Post by Shaffs 64 »

I have a 1964 Ford F-100 before I bought it someone put a floor shifter in it. I would like to put it back on the tree. I have the old collar but I'm missing the the shift lever, and the linkage between the trans and the column. Is there another column tat may work in its place. or any other ideas out there?

Okay, I'm back to my question on the steering column. Anyone know if the 1964 F-100 3 Speed on the tree is interchangeable with anything else. I can't find a three speed Steering column out here anywhere.

Someone put a floor shifter in my truck and I would like to return it to the tree. I'm missing the linkage to the trans, and the shifter it self, I think if I were to at least get these few parts I could make it work. Any Help?

i bought the linkage rods from Pete in Ga.
he is currently in the hospital so i dont know if he can help.

you might contact Tom @ flashback f100s to see if he has any
http://www.flashbackf100s.com/

the shifter arm can be taken from any ford column 3 speed

the other pieces- collar and internal bushings etc can be bought new to rebuild your existing column.

Looks like I need the shift lever, steering wheel, and the linkage that goes from the lower column to the trans.

I have a cabin up in Manton and I will be heading up there on saturday afternoon so, if you have what I need I can swing by then.

And let me know if your looking for a few parts that I have extra too I can bring them with me.

Thanks Bob,

Jeff
