That question was probably in response to my post.

I think it may be shortened because it appears that the wheelbase is longer than that of a true shortbed. There also appears to be something funky going on at the rear, where the body line sweeps around the taillight pockets. If you shorten a longbed by removing material from the rear and moving the rear section forward, then that body line no longer aligns properly. Long- and shortbed unis have different taillight pockets for that reason.

There's one photo of it that shows some waviness in that area.

I really like that " custom " rear window . I think I will try that with my uni . Fortunately I already have a long bed uni with a window just like that which I guess should be able to be adapted to my short uni .

I don't see what everyone sees on the shortened longbed! Quarters look just like mine!
Nice engine compartment---not my choice , but still nicely done.

That hinky wobble at the tail lights could just be amateur body work, but it does look a tad long in wheelbase. And I agree, not the wisest choice in engine/trans, but to each his own, I guess.

I like everything on the truck (yes that includes the engine) except for the paint color! But it's not quite worth that much.

Anyone else think that's a shortened longbed?

Stock SWB Uni has an "off center" look to the rear wheel arch.
Some colors and stances will make it more noticeable - some less.
It has the correct fender extensions for a SWB (they are different than a LWB).
Like the mill or not it's very nicely done and very nicely not over done.
Not my type of build but nice is nice.

I have heard a rumor that 429-460 valve cover will fit. Don't really belive it, anybody ever heard this? Would make engine look better.
