I'm not familiar with campers. Does "combo shower, wash bowl, & toilet" mean literally what it sounds like, that essentially you wash, and shower in the toilet??

they are not 2300 miles away, but someone had the good sense to create this place called "Arizona" to put in between us and them.

The toilet and shower are one area , would look similar to a porta john , but add a toilet seat and a shower head and a sink if there's room.

I hope to retire in Tucson, a nice classic car and bike scene down there, plus racing, baseball, roller derby, and an air force base.

I actually grew up in AZ, but lived in GA and AL most of my adult life. I grew up in the part on the CA border, that we used to call "eastern california". I live in New Mexico now, and it reminds me of a weird cross between alabama and arizona. I like the Tucson area, but I like it here too, and the cost of living is lower here.

My wife looked at a job in Las Cruces. Ive passed through on I-10 a bunch of times but never stopped.

Isnt the crime rate high? Violent crime?

People say its a dry heat. What that means is you think your skin is going to catch on fire.

Tucson is getting more affordable, but too many good paying jobs have gone offshore, so although the cost of living is coming down, so are the wages.

Personally I'd rather eat sprouts than live back east. Rust free trucks, wide open spaces, beautiful ocean and car events year round. Out in the country there are no hippies. Just God fearing folk who enjoy the sunshine.

A long long time ago I lived in Bellflower. Nice little town, not to far from the beach. I wouldnt live in Cal today. The liberals have pussyfied Cal to the point that its against the law to be a proud American. I do like Northern Cal (to visit, to wet for me), Ive got a pic of me sitting on the golden bears at each end of the Hwy 1 bridge over the Klamath River.

Thats one of the things I love about America, if you dont like where you live, there are 49 other choices.
