Mountain cruise last night

Post by Hoofbeat Racer »

Thought I would take advantage of the blistering spring heat last night and put on 100 miles with the top off. It was a great way to enjoy high 50 degree weather 8) Canuck style. This is what I call "L-I-V-I-N"

Sweet!! Looks like fun. How did the wife enjoy going topless? 8)
Isn't the roof supposed to be a real pain to remove/reinstalll on those things?
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Agreed, it does have very nice proportions. I like those trucks with a functional lift. :thumright:

Mark, It upsets me to see a nice guy like you having to drive something that ugly so I tell you what I will do. You go ahead and drive that ugly thing down here for SS and I will take it off your hands, I might even give you $10 or $20 to take it off your hands and I am only offering so much because I like you...........Kid

Thanks for all comments. I have put 350 miles on it in the last week since I got it on the road. It has truly been a labor of love. Got to take the whole family out in it tonight and it was great to see my boys whooping it up in the back seat like a crazy roller coaster ride.

Yes Alan, that is snow but not to worry, it won't bite. Bigfoots are out of hibernation and if I get real lucky at work, I can watch them unsuspectingly. They really are fascinating to observe in the wild  We are very fortunate to live in this part of the world where the stars shine bright, the air is crisp, and we are also the first town downstream of the mountains so our water is about as fresh as it gets anywhere. We also average 37 consecutive frost free days during the summer, so Ruth if you are hot, it is easy to cool off here. Thanks again Mike for all your help in making this happen for me, it was a great experience playing with this little toy.

Unfortunately, I will be selling the Bronco in the next few days. I thought I could pull it off but it just isn't going to work out. I need to know when to hold em and know when to fold em and right now I have to fold. Time, space, money, and other undisclosed reasons are preventing me from continuing my little 4x4 relationship. A friend of mine is going to give it a very good home soon and he and his kids will also enjoy it. Proceeds of the sale will fund me to get to Slickstock and hopefully soon maybe another slick.

Going topless, What will the neighbors think???????

That's a shame to let that good looking Bronco get away.

You have some beautiful country up there. Beth and I were up there on our Harley's a few years ago in August and it was great. The weather was good until we left the Banf area and rode in the rain and cold all the way to Calgary and on down to Lethbridge. The sun finally came out and the weather got decent for a while. Then we ended up in a town for the night near the border that was a dry county. After that much rain I needed a good beer.
We will make it back up that way one of these days.

Sounds pretty typical. One day earlier this spring we had snow, rain, sunshine, and a mini dust storm in the span of about 4-5 hours. ;)

I'm thinking of taking a cruise through Kananaskis Country in the 350Z this summer. My buddy just picked up a 2012 Challenger R/T so I'm trying to convince him to come along. :)

Should make for some good photo ops.
