If you could get past the bears, you would fall of the end of the Earth.

Maybe it's time to get A/C.

This would be a good time for those of you who don't think there's global warmng to pipe up

tell us how Al Gore's son got arrested for drug possession, so it just can't be... or something equally irrelevant.

They said his son was going over 100mph in a Prius Hybrid. That's harder to believe than global warming.

90s in July! Yep global warming for sure, probably last until uhhh, fall? LOL. Speaking of Al Gore, loved in when he was giving a talk on global warming in New York a couple years ago, it was -10 or something there at the time, lol. Bout every decade the "panic environmentalists" change their tune, I can remember bout 1996 or so they were screaming we were gonna have another ice age. In the big picture of things do you all honestly think insignificant little ol us can actually affect the weather of a 400 billion year old planet THAT much? What a friggin ego we have with that one, lol. I pretty much agree we can't be completely irresponsible about this stuff. I am however very tired of whatever todays TV version of " WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE! " is and all the $$$$$$$ they manage to guilt out our taxes to pay for their panic studies and worthless programs just so we can pay more for the things that get regulated by them. I am going to get off of my soapbox and go play with my 45 year old truck.

Its 112 here as i type.......

Apartment is a balmy 78 degrees with the AC ON! Dog loves it!

Steve did a lot of work to the shop over the last few months, and with the heat never got above 84 in the shop today. The drive home tonight was not too bad.. seeing as i drive a BLACK truck With a Black interior...LOL i could not touch the headliner and the keys were quite warm when i parked under my carport.

Will have to wait for the monsoons and the higher humidity to probally suffer.

Yeah, Like it's never been hot in summer

Phoenix is hot, it's what we are known for. The last few years we have not seen the north side of 115 but for the rare occasion. Not that long ago we had a record 120 followed up with 122 the very next day, that was in the late 80's!

I will never....never.... ever complain about my 100 degrees (with heat index) inside the plant that I work at again. I have a buddy that lives in New Mexico and he says it gets pretty hot. He just did some sort of off-roading thing with his buddies in Death Valley.

LOL@Steve
You forgot the reference to Al gore's kid. Definitely all his fault. Driving a Prius at over 100 MPH prolly warped the space/time continuum
Bet there's some Scientist in Denver can prove it.

No NO no! The Prius isn't going to cause Gloabal Warming. What it will do is overcharge it's battery from the excessive speed and emit NOX and Ozone from the battery packs that will finish burning off what ever is left of our Ozone layer and fry us all to death.

BTW, what ever happened to that cause-celeb.

You were right Doc
It's only 14 C here today at the edge of the earth. The seals have almost finished off the cod and the icebergs are bringing more polar bears in as they float past. But I havn't seen a deer in a while, it's all moose near the edge of the world. Maybe JC's area

It's a wonderful life here in neverland (Newfoundland)

And this IS the edge of the world. The rock here is actually older than the atlantic ocean! One of the oldest chunks of land in the world.
From a guy without his Ford that he left on a rock in the North Atlantic.

I'm sorry fellas but Al Gore has some serious issues, and it's not global warming, the heat is know different now than when I was a kid 40 years ago, the problem is we're older and can't handle the heat as well, and as a kid my family did not have home A/C, until I was around 12 or so, now very few homes don't have A/C, I believe we as a society, are very spoiled, I even have A/C in my garage out back. :dancing:
