4 link or triangulated

Post by RED »

Im at a crossroads.....Trying to decide what to do about the rear suspension. What are some of your opinions on going with a 90s explorer rearend with a four link and coil overs OR staying with the 8.8 drum setup I have now and using the stock ears on the pumpkin to do a triangulated setup with coil overs also. Im really ok with using the 8.8 and just really wondering if the triagulated will be ok with what I want it for (just a cruiser nothing crazy and a good ride). Thanks for your input

I think both can achieve your goal. I think leaf springs will work for your goal and be much less complicated.

I'm a huge fan of coil-overs, Maybe more work but you'll never think back and say you wish you hadn't put them there.
