Looks nice except ONE Thing,,,,,, Do not get caught by Ford cause that can be a major prison term and heavy fine,,,,, Thats why the company that made them stopped caused they did not want to carry 1,000,000 insurance policy and pay Ford Royalties and the web is the fastest way to get caught cause Ford owns the word Ranger just like many other words and symbols Ford owns,,,,,, giving them away for FREE is I guess alright,,,, This past All Ford Carlisle Ford had people looking for that,,,,,,, AND This what I saw personally one swap meet,,, middle of night same situation we where awaken by the FBI cutting the lock off the trailer took all of what was not licensed got the owner and his wife in handcuffs impouned and seized his trailer and have seen many times at shows this happens,,,,,,, Ford, GM and Mopar take this licensing very serious so I would be careful on this,, also one hint Ford does know what is out there thats why some companies have stopped making it,, one other example is the door/lock key sets forthese trucks,,, Ford dropped them another company makes them except for one very small detail and thats why he can sell them and detail is the key does not say Ford

You know, I love FoMoCo as much as anyone here, but since when do PATENTS last a *%!!@#$ LIFETIME??? FORD chooses NOT to make them, (unprofitable because of the small numbers) yet by law is able to prevent anyone else from doing it (selling them, that is - can't stop anyone from making them..) Besides, "Ranger" was a word LONG before Ford assigned it to a trim-level option on a truck series. (unlike, say "Corvette", which is a made-up trademarked word) You'd think they'd have more important things to do - like design and build better new vehicles. Twits.

While I agree with your mindset, you are mistaken on many points you are making. First, the emblems are not patented, they are trademarks and the trademark only applies to items that say Ranger that pertain to motor vehicles. Second, trademark law requires the trademark holder to enforce the law, it is not an option for them to let people do it just because they no longer make the parts. You may want to research that one as it is the Democrats at work again not Ford causing the issue. Also note that Corvette is not a made up word that was trademarked. Hawkrod

I think you can "make" the emblem for your own use, its if you sell or profit from the item that will get you in trouble.
