Custom Cabs

Post by LM14 »

I got to thinking and did some searching. I can find bits and pieces but not everything in one place.

What are the items included in a Custom Cab each year? Can anyone break down what came with your 61-66, by year, when you checked the box on that new purchase? How about what you could add in adition to the normally included Custom Cab pieces?

1961 CC included: ..............
1961 Additional choices were: ...........

1962 CC included: .............
1962 Additional......etc.

Anyone seen something like this for our trucks?

Thanks,
SPark

most "extra" items could be ordered a la carte or in packages including the custom cab package.
standard trucks were pretty basic, single visor, no armrests, no radio, etc.

heres a 65 brochure, text in the image tells some of what comes with cc.

There were "appearance" packages available that included some of the CC features which explains why you might see a '66 with aluminum grille and light doors but no CC script. So says the Ford of Canada salesman's manual.
