Glad to find this forum it looks like it will be a great resource.
I recently acquired a 66 f100 with a 352. Is the oil capacity 5 or 6 quarts? It did not have a dipstick and I am trying to calibrate the universal replacament I bought till I can find a used one.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the family.
The FE motor uses 6 quarts of oil when you change the filter.
Let it circulate, turn it off, then check the level.
I probably have an extra dip stick laying around somewhere.

Nah Mike.
Put in the 6 quarts, start the motor and then shut it off.... after it sits a while it will read at the proper full mark.
Mark it there. Make a second mark about 3/8" below that mark to show (1) quart low. (from measuring mine).
5 quarts in the crankcase and one in the filter.
