Instead of spending $200 on bezels, and knobs I refurbished the old ones. The inserts are 1/2 hole plugs from Lowes, I needed 7 of them, 6 for the switches and 1 for the glove box. I had to use silicone to make them stay in and I had to cut some of them shorter because the recess in a couple of the knobs is shallow. Total cost of this project was $3 + about 5 hours of labor. Im pretty pleased with the results.
They are in hardware in the specialty drawers. They come in white, black, and chrome. I took a knob in with me and looked at all three types.
The chrome looks more stainless steel to me and didnt match the chrome bezels. I liked the contrast of the white over the black, so I went with the white.

wyco is kansas' version of the ghetto. bed enough that even johnson county (joco) is affected on it's border. joco is known as the nicest and most affluent county in the kansas city area, but even it's property values suffer on it's northern border where it meets wyco. we're not just talking a neighborhood here, we're talking an entire county being a slum.

Anytime you can substitute a part that you can make fit is the best way to go. Bikes are no different, especially old Harleys. I learned long ago to settle for a part that you can make it work with determination and enginuity, rather then spend an arm and a leg for NOS. Simple and functionable. BTW-Beautiful dash, you done a good job on that.
