All in all, probably not a bad price for a frame off. Pretty truck. Liking the turquoise more and more. But I do have a "red" reputation to uphold.

great buy on that one I think. Altho with fees kind of a shame at auction. If you could buy it direct from buyer in the first place I think it would be a great little truck.

10 percent for buyer and seller is ridiculous in my opinion.

I agree, but the seller obviously thought it was worth it as he/she agreed to it when they consigned it.

I sold some stuff (non-automotive) last year at auction and the sellers premium was larger than than, BUT the auction house spent a considerable amount of money in marketing the items and reached an audience that I would have never in a million years been able to reach, so it was worth it to me.

That being said, taking from both sides (buyer and seller) seems to be a little much (pretty sure it used to be one of the other) but again but them's the rules :-) Sometimes you have to pay to play.

Well, I suppose if the auction house "needs" (10% + 10% =) 20% of the sales to cover costs & profit, it's better to split the load rather than put it all on one or the other.... :2cents:
