If I had the $ and the room we would already be arranging P/U. I could sell my Uni which needs ALOT more work than your truck but I am just not willing to part with it. Slick deal of the year IMHO.

Greg,

I agree its the deal of a lifetime and I am sad to see it go! I have only lived in america for 5 months so I have zero credit here - everything I do has to be by cash.. so I can only do a one project at a time. I really miss being in a car the will pull the front wheels of the ground in a drag strip and am kinda an impulsive person by nature.. I'd love to put the money and time into this truck to finish it but need to be on the drag strip moreso!

Like others have said, you could sell off all the small block stuff buy a 514 or bigger ad a 4 link go spank some cars. There are some guys racing these trucks going very fast. If you stay with the Slick and race it all your preliminary work is done. Buy a car and you have to start over unless you buy somebodies prepped roller.

First. You will regret selling your Slick. Maybe not now, but soon. And we'll always have Par........ er ah, wait, I lost my train of thought.
Second, see if you can find the thread about Mayhem Bob. That might give you a little education and some encouragement.
Third, no whiners need apply here. You want to pull some wheels off the ground? Take a look at the 427 F-100XL Ford produced in the early 60's. Maybe you'll get the idea. Do a little research. I know two guys here in Houston that are shooting to break 12 seconds and an old codger in Florida that probably already has (FordBoyPete). And they'll pull the front wheels if that's what trips your trigger.
Forth. Anybody can stage a Mustang in the lights or at a light. What about that unique feeling of lining up with the only one of its kind in town and then dusting said Camero or Mustang with an old timey truck???
Fifth. Besides, long wheelbase trucks hook up better than shortys.
Last. Anybody can make a stripper run down the 1320, but it takes guts and horsepressure to make a truck run like that. Don't be a follower. Be a leader.
Now, have I sufficently insulted you that you'll keep your Slick?
No?
Yep, you'll regret it.
Oh yeah, we'll miss you.
U@ss
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

If you can't tweak the frame when you launch, you don't have enough horsepressure :D
Maybe you're getting the message????????????

Nuff said. The owner still has it, he's a member here. Some of the lucky ones have seen it in person.

Well after a 650 mile round trip I now own Poweradders 66' F100. All I can say is WOW, it is a very nice truck. It is everything he said it was. On top of being very honest person he is a great guy. So thank again Jamie for everything.
I will be changing my focus now from my 63' to the 66'.

I'd be interested in that No Limit Rack & Pinion setup if you did buy it and no longer need it. I have a '64 SWB.

Nothing like high horsepower slicks with straight axles 3 feet off the ground! That's got to get your blood pumping! :rocker:

Drop Max or me a line. We're both interested in the straight axle power rack.
I'd like to look at the kit even if you don't want to sell it.
