need measurement

Hey does any one know the diameter of the radiator support hole in the frame? This is the round hole on a 65. mine is rusted through and I am welding it up now.

Mike it looks to be about 1" and a Half.

I agree about 1.5"

I got the same thing on my 66. I have a 71 the holes in the frame are perfect, and they take the same mounting hardware as the 66. I measured the hole on the 71 with calipers. It was 1.4". I am pretty sure the hole is the frame is 1" 7/16.

My Uncle was part of the 104th the 414th Infantry he was Killed in Action just outside of Stolberg Germany. I guess I'm just a History Buff.

Thanks for the measurements. I'm gona burn in some new metal and make some holes.
Memorial is this weekend and I hope to make a little progress on the 65.
