Yes, crawfish are pretty much gone for this year, but I'm sure several "crawfish seasons" will come and go before I get to the "paint" stage on anything.

Links are working but my web site is having issuses today for some reason. If they don't work try again later hopefully they will get that site working correctly soon.

Guys if we do that it will need to be later in the year when the temps are in the 65-75 degree zone. Shooting base/clear in 100 degree temps is "Challenging" at best. Got a lot of fine sanding with 1500 to get some of the surfaces slick. Clear wants to dry way too fast and is a bit of a problem when it does. Even used the slow dry reducer and it was flashing fast. Once it is cut and buffed it will be fine. I couldn't see the pics either Chris. Will check on it at home and see. TR

Pics finally came through tonight, Chris. Love the contrast pics. Gone that far in less than 2 years, dang near like eating an elephant, one bite at a time. Glad to help buddy, cuz stuff like that is always a good time with good friends. We definitely need to try for cooler weather to paint the rest of it, don't ya think? I seriously do! Lol! TR

Gary, I was curious as to the temps/humidity and flash times while you were spraying - especially the clear. I was epoxy priming a ton of little parts on Sunday and they were literally dry to the touch 2 minutes after spraying.

You two did nice work!

Thanks everyone... Still been working hard on the truck. This past weekend got some more done on it. With help from brian T on sunday got more done. I still have to touch up 3 doors (just the white/clear part) then I can get the seals on and mount them. Will also be shooting another coat of clear on the roof of the truck. Early AM this time when temp are lower.

Got the shifter in the mail yesterday so I had to test fit it and of course I needed a seat to fully do the test fit. I really need to rebuild these ugly green seats but for now they will just get a cover. Good thing is I have a long 3 day weekend.

Goal is to fire it up but I will most likly get close to that goal.

This door has seal and locking hardware installed, even got the electric lock installed.

See what I mean about the green seat.... Felt good to sit in the seat again after all this time.

My arms still hurt from sanding but I can not wait to do it again. I am a glutten for punishment. Sorry I willnot be around this weekend.
It should make you feel good when you put all the doors on.

Been working hard on all the little piss ant stuff (at least what I call Piss ant stuff).

All 4 doors are now mounted and have fuzzy's, vent window, door handle/locking hardware.

I need to get the drivers door finished but have to find one little part before installing. Got to love those little parts.

3 of the doors still need alignment but I am going to wait until I have a buddy come out and help. It is a two person job.

Engine & tranny are out but I am working on EFI harness.

While the Engine is out I have completed the brake lines and MC install. I even have brake fluid in the system

Of course I am going to re do 2 of the rear brake lines as I just don't like how they look. Took the rear drums down to get turned and they were to warpped to turn correctly. And Damm those things are expensive. Orilley's wanted $142 each.. rock auto had them for $96 so that's not to bad I guess. grrrrr.. Good thing is the rear brakes are rebuilt and waiting for the drums. The front brakes are also finished plus I buttoned but the suspension (installed cotter keys and lubed

).

I am working on getting the door windows ready to install I am tinting the windows first then installing.

That's about it the pics below are from 4th of July weekend.

Cool you moved it to the front bay. Should I imagine that the "buddy" to help with the door alignment might be me????????

That would be great if you could come out to help. I was giving you time with the wife and kids before asking again for help again... This weekend I plan on putting the motor and tranny back in and getting that all hooked up. I still need to get the wiring finished but at least the brakes are 90% done and will be 100% before saturday.

Yes Max I see that 44 day problem. That is why I've been out in the shop almost everynight after work doing something on the truck. I got the front two windows in last night. I said F it on the tint because I never get it to turn out right. I will just pay someone to install after the fact. Besides that the task is a non operational task and doesn't need to be completed before SS4... I am doing everything I can to make it in the CrewCab... Hopefully motor and tranny are good....

One good thing is that I am running out of parts to put on the truck.
