I have the dremel version. My brother has the Harbor Freight one. Just feel alone the dremel is better.
Love mine, used it for drywall patching. Blades and sanding discs are too pricy to use on the truck. I do plan on using it with the scraping blade when I pull the bed.
Word of caution, I noticed the case gets hot rather quickly.

In the long run you might be glad if you bought the Dremel. Dremel is ALWAYS top shelf. You used to be able to send Dremels in for repairs too - not going to get that with the HF.
If you are going to look at the Craftsman the HF might be the one for your money though. Not been real impressed with some of the Craftsman stuff lately.
Don't get me wrong I have stuff in all 3 brands. The HF electric stuff usually works pretty good until it gets heavy use.
I am on my 2nd Dremel Multi tool and have the full set. I bought another cause the old one lasted about 20 years.

Actually the Fein is " The original one " . That being said it is also $200-$300 more than the HF version and frankly I dont see the extra cost

I really try to buy America whenever possible. I don't have a lot of money to spent like the rest of you. The HF / Chicago Electric is chinese made and is cheap. It would probably get the job done.
I recently bought a saws-all, I passed up the chinese stuff and bought a Milwaukee. Yes I paid more money, but it is a nice tool and I feel good about it every time I use it. I am not fueling the chinese military and government.
It was worth the cost for the quality and supports American jobs. My money was double well spent.
