I took the gas tank out from behind the seat in the ol' '61 to do a little clean up, etc. and I decided against putting it back. On the hunt for a new tank. I got, for the low, low price of FREE, a 50 gallon aluminum reefer tank with all the brackets and such. Wow. Looks kinda cool back there, but who can afford to fill the sucker? Plus, it is overkill. Just a bit...

I'll post a picture later. Thunder and lightning right now.

Who says you have to fill it?

Plus you can drive all day (or two) on a road trip without stopping for gas.

or just run a short section of garden hose thru the hole where the in cab fuel line went.
As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.
