The IFS is here!!!
I got a nice big box from Steve and Garbz today!!
The craftsmanship is great and the instructions look good!
I am so stoked!! I can't wait till I can get to work on it!!
I have been bussy with the Bump the last few days. My wife and kids when on vacation. Oldest to Grandmas, younger one and wife to FL with my Mom and sisters. So that leaves me with a week all to myself!!
I have been posting pictures and stuff over on FORDification.com. <here>
I will take some pictures of the Kitt tomarrow.

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

Hey cool, it made it there unharmed.
We recently went for double wall boxes to keep UPS from abusing them horribly. Garbz did alright, didn't he.
Been busy and consumed with getting the new CNC plasma table up and running. I am just now getting to the point of seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

Design software I use Alibre', I hear all sorts of groans and moans from the "pros" but it works just fine for what we do here.
CAM wise Alibre' came bundled with SprutCAM. I learned it and it is pretty slick. However it isn't really for what we do here. We need to create nests for production and optimising the plate so I started looking around. BobCAD came highly recomended by MultiCam (my plasma table) but when these companies start flailing around words like "powerfull" you can take that to mean complicated. BobCAD will do the work but to get all the options I need for production it puts the softare over 4Gs!
I am working with the folks at www.mtc-software.com and I can assure you these guys truly rock! Tech support and training that blows the competition completly out of the water.
I had a bug in the software installation from MultiCam that would not allow it to cut a .cnc file correctly. It threw everyone for a loop, but Bruce a MTC figured out that it had to be a software problem with the machine itself. A quick call to tech support at MultiCam and shuffle a file around to the correct place and everything is cool. The only buggaboo is importing my DXF or DWG files into TurboNest but we should have everything sorted out before the end of the day!

Oh, www.sprutcam.com
I just wanted to say a few things about that. I watched a video on www.bobcad.com that I thought was very interesting. They were pushing V21 on me pretty heavy. It would do everything and a whole lot more, but their BobCAD 2007 that is due out in a few months looks almost IDENTICAL in its interface to SprutCAM!
