From the HAMB-go there and let them know your opinion. EMS will be producing parts for our trucks.

after reading the wants,, I really don't know where they are getting there floor pans, cab mounts etc. cause the ones we have and always had fit good USA Made,, unless you buy those cheap pieces of xxxx from LMC or JC Whitney Or some others then you get what you pay for.. just likethe black floor pans or cab mounts from Tawain that are xxxx,, Know why big companies sell all that xxxx, cause they buy it for about 10.00 and sell it for 60.00 so its about all that profit, they could care less about you,, 66 Grills for 600.00 ???? , they are cheaper than that,,,, Bed Floors thats another joke,, not in this country, way too much cost in this country and the shipping way too much,,, Front bed panel, front crossmember and about 2 foot of floor would be great,, rear 57-63 panels BUT Remember will have to be for the short bed and long bed trucks,, ++++ Door Skins I doubt since there is a flood of 61/66 doors out there all the time,, also it's hard for the average builder to weld a outer/inner skin,, I see all the time a lot of wants but when it's finally made in this country, price is too high and if being made in Tawain,, those people will back stab out the back door to your competion,, so thats a waste,, EMS Does make great products,, but you better get geared up on the bucks

If EMS really wants to break in to this segment of the market they need to start with some pieces that no one else is making at this point in time. That would be the start of a good repete customer base in my opinion. When you start into someone elses territory you have to produce products that they do not and go from there. Thats the nature of this type of market. old.gif :thumright:  :2cents: Tom

if i were to make after market body panels for profit it wouldn't be for these trucks. in the grand scheme of things we barely even show on the radar. kudos to those that do though.

What a lot of wants C'mom BE Realistic and lets be practical say on hoods,, NOBODY In this country is not going to spend say 30,000 for a press, pay high steel in this country and 18 per hour to stamp out looking @ 1000 and up for a hood,, Roofs never happen , the 1956 roofs been needed and not even thought and most 56 roofs are shot,, GOOD IDEA On the inside kick panels but a lot of satpming there,, do the 64/66 gates by changing the tooling to F O R D instead of the 67/72 style,, 61/66 vent frames are still many good used ones out there and new ones are in the works if not already out there but made in Tawain I would think,, I already heard bad reports on front fenders,,, +++ Looking at the comments of sheet metal I repeat if but good quality floor pans, cab mounts etc you get good parts,, buy from LMC or JC Whitney you deserve what you paid for or any of that Black Tawain xxxx,, just like I will repeat 61/66 doors are so many out there,, at any given time I have 10 pairs +++ here,, I know myself I would never buy a door skin since I have been there with inner/outer bottoms, just buy another door,, 61/66 doors here say fit 61/66 excluding uni's from F100 to F750. ++ Super Duties, and T-1000 trucks up to 1968 thats a lot of trucks

There are a fair number of us out here that love flareside beds but nobody has ever made the one part that is amost always rotton on them, the lower 6'' of the rear fender where the step bolts on. :cussing: I currently need two rights and a left and will prolly need another left when I find another fender. How about a lower panel on either left or right below the tailight for the styleside bed from 57-63 and on 4x4s. This would be the bottom half of that panel. Most all I have ever seen have some rust if not alot of rust. Ive been messing with these trucks since the mid 80s and have never seen that panel offered either cheap overseas one or solid american made. Years ago a manufacture named Steal had pics of this panel in paper catalog I ordered from them but it was never available to purchase.

junkyard Dog, THANK YOU for that info. It is now bookmarked. I've been doing this for a long time and although I don't have every catalog on line bookmarked I have most of the main sellers we all use. Mid Fiftie is the ONLY dealer that offers this peice. Thanks again, Tom :thumright: :thumright: :thumright:

61-64 Cab Mounts have been made in USA for at least 20 years and just a few vendors carry them,, the junk ones I have seen are carried by LMC,, JC Whitney that are thin with slits in them and are not strong enough to hold the cab up

I don't need them yet, but will in a few months. Do you have them? Or can you post who does. All I have found are the crappy ones you speak of.

I'd like to see a complete, bed assembly, with changes.

Make the side panels one piece, and in both regular styleside and uni style.

Make them a bolt on deal, along with the one piece floor pan and a one piece headboard.

Makes for easier shipping, and paint prep.

Given that only about one in ten people actually care if thier truck is "ORIGINAL" and actually go out of thier way to personalize them, this would be a wonderful addition to parts availablitlty.

Make several style os tailgates - dented and smooth. Make an insertable panel for the Mercury boys, that says Mercury
