He had it on craigslist out here about a year or two ago, wanted crazy money for it, will be interesting to follow at auction. Lets all take a guess, I think $8k.

Re: '65 Slick @ upcoming MECUM
if i buy it do i get to keep the rear wheel chock?
Re: '65 Slick @ upcoming MECUM
Although I didn't see it posted in the ad, given the seller's history, I'd guess he'll have a RESERVE on it....... and it won't be met........ no sale.65TremecGT wrote:He had it on craigslist out here about a year or two ago, wanted crazy money for it, will be interesting to follow at auction. If it does sell, I'll guess it'll go for..... $6,800.

Re: '65 Slick @ upcoming MECUM
In general, I don't like it. Especially the way he smoothed the front upper valence panel. But what do I know...
Just driving my truck.

Re: '65 Slick @ upcoming MECUM
looked a lot better in its candy gold/bronze color a couple years back
its a pre-runner 2wheel drive unless its been converted since then.
it was in the 32k range if I recall a couple years ago

As I said before, it's clean & all, but it's just not my taste....
I'm surprised it went that cheap!
But even at $3,500,,,,, yep, i'd pass.
